Chapter II/2-7

The highly-anticipated Valkyrie Examination commences. Theresa goes over the rules and tells everyone to get into positions. Kiana and Mei are paired together and discuss Kiana's evident bad mood before battle starts. Kiana talks about her dreams, although she's not able to recall them clearly. To cheer Kiana up, Mei promises to cook for Kiana afterwards. The first round starts and the two have to cooperate and defeat multiple waves of enemies.

For round two, Kiana is challenging Bronya solo. The girls have a friendly squabble and start their sparring high in spirits. Kiana wins by a huge mile and Bronya admits that maybe she hasn't recovered fully.

Round three has Kiana spar with none other than the best student, Fu Hua. Kiana's uncomfortable facing Fu Hua and so the latter attempts to share words of wisdom to bring focus back to the exam. She also lets out that she admires Kiana and is glad to spar with her, which in turn perks Kiana up a bit. Unlike round two, round three is focused on survival as Fu Hua is unlikely to be defeated.

Overall, the three rounds are completed with no issues.
