Chapter III, titled Poem of the Wind, is a Story pertaining to the mainline narrative, specifically Part 1.
Captain Level 20 is required to enter the first stage.
Short Summary[]
Kiana and her friends are assigned to a mission at Oceania Branch, New Zealand to recover Gem of Desire which said to contain powerful Honkai energy. A surprising twist happens when they find out that the gem is now contained within a girl on a wheelchair. However, their time on the location is limited as Anti-Entropy's massive troops are arriving soon with a similar objective.

Kiana and her friends arrive at Oceania Branch, New Zealand to retrieve Gem of Desire, one of the three powerful Honkai Cubes. The research program conducted by Schicksal had failed and the gem was kept in Oceania Branch ever since.
Theresa briefs Himeko about the history of the gem. 14 years ago, the 2nd Herrscher dragged Siberia into an Imaginary Space before the Honkai-fissile missiles ordered by Overseer Otto Apocalypse to destroy the Herrscher exploded. Once in the Imaginary Space, Cecilia sacrificed herself to destroy the core of the 2nd Herrscher which eventually shattered into 4 gems, one of which is Gem of Desire. However, when Otto and his troop were recovering them, Anti-Entropy's advanced mechas and battleships arrived, led by the 1st Herrscher whom their aim was also the 2nd Herrscher. As Schicksal's troops were devastated during the battle, Otto let them recover along with the corpse as well as the core, deceiving them to think that the core was whole as they didn't know that it had already fractured into 4 pieces.
Theresa also briefs Kiana about the battleship during the first story mission, mentioning that the battleship is so powerful that the power of 4 Herrschers are required to power them. Kiana recalls the Void's voice mentioning about 4 keys.
During the mission, they find the gem which surprisingly, was contained within a girl on a wheelchair named Wendy. Himeko chips in to explain that the gem has been inserted into her calf 3 years ago by Schicksal, thus allowing her to use the Herrscher power. The gem itself is unstable but Wendy manages to control it for now, but lost function of her leg in the process. Kiana and her friends proceed to try to take Wendy to Hyperion.

Suffer no more than 1 death(s).A light conversation ensues between Kiana and her friends with Wendy where Wendy wants to be like Bronya and be able to walk with an exoskeleton.
During the mission, Bronya requests Himeko to remove the gem immediately but Himeko refuses, stating that the gem is unstable and can blow up if left unprocessed. Wendy interrupts them, saying that it is the duty of Valkyrie like herself to sacrifice for greater good.
As they successfully fend off Honkai beasts at the rendezvous point, they wait for the Hyperion to arrive. However, the Honkai Impact energy level spikes from Wendy and her attitude immediately changes to bloodlust. With this sudden change, Himeko who is behind the screen wonders whether she has successfully harnessed the gem's power or has been corrupted by Honkai Will.

Suffer no more than 1 death(s).As Wendy becomes hostile, Kiana and her friends are forced to fight against her. Fortunately after some clashes, Wendy retreats for the time being.

Suffer no more than 1 death(s).Himeko reports this incident to HQ to dispatch an S-rank Valkyrie due to high risk of letting Wendy roam free. Kiana and her friends have 30 minutes to find her.
During their search, Himeko reports several pieces of bad news to them. First, Wendy has been classified as 4th Herrscher and they dispatch the strongest S-rank Valkyrie, Durandal. Second, several battleships from Anti-Entropy are coming to this location too, possibly to retrieve the Gem of Desire as well. Taking this opportunity, Theresa purposely reveals Durandal's location in the public channel to be intercepted by the battleships so both of them engage in battle, giving Kiana and her friends more time to find Wendy.

Defeat at least 3 enemies.
Suffer no more than 1 death(s).Kiana and her friends finally catch up to Wendy. She spares them and flies away again after a brief conversation.
During their chase, Theresa informs them that Durandal found out about Theresa giving away her location and is now being suspected of colluding with Anti-Entropy. Theresa is lucky that she is still busy with Anti-Entropy and she needs them to find Wendy immediately, although Theresa complains about Durandal giving her a hard time while Theresa was a trainer.
After some time, Theresa informs that Durandal has sent Anti-Entropy packing and she needs to give a valid reason for her actions. Kiana and her friends suggest different reasons as excuses to try to bluff Durandal. Theresa finds Kiana's reason, which is Anti-Entropy happening to be on a holiday and encountering her on the way, contains no flaw and relays it to Durandal. She apparently buys it! Theresa is saved, for now.

Kiana and her friends find Wendy again and Bronya tries to talk to Wendy by recalling an orphan named Seele who was corrupted by Honkai but managed to resist, regaining her senses. Wendy trusts Bronya and backs down. However, Cocolia suddenly interjects, hacks and orders Bronya to attack the 4th Herrscher. Wendy begins to enrage and attacks them again.
Both of them battle until Anti-Entropy's mecha troops arrive and attacks Wendy with one shot, rendering her unconscious. At the same time, hijacked Bronya knocks back Raiden Mei from behind and falls to the ground. Kiana is heavily outnumbered and is forced to surrender. Unfortunately, Hyperion and Himeko's forces are arriving soon and Anti-Entropy had to fall back, capturing hijacked Bronya, Wendy and Mei. Kiana, who was rescued, has no choice but to return to St. Freya High to devise a rescue plan with Theresa and Himeko.
