Chapter V, titled Tundra Reunion, is a Story pertaining to the mainline narrative, specifically Part 1.
Short Summary[]
Desperate to save Bronya, Theresa resorts to the St. Freya underground church where the most advanced Schicksal biotechnology resides but almost all of the results have been blocked by top secret classification, saves for one dated the day of 2nd Honkai War. Having no other choice, Theresa teleports in to investigate, followed by Kiana who is sneaking behind. Unbeknown to Kiana, this is the day whereby many significant events have happened, and a chance to verify the truths about the Void's tales.

5-1[]

After the mission at the ME Corp HQ building, Bronya is sent straight to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, even the medical techniques of St. Freya were unable to wake her up. Theresa goes to the St. Freya underground church where the most advanced Schicksal biotechnology is found in order to save Bronya. However, despite receiving many search results none of them could be accessed due to their implication with the "Sirin Project" and thus classified as top secret by Overseer Otto, except for one search result dated February 7th, 2000. Curious, Theresa teleports into the database to investigate, and didn't realise that Kiana is eavesdropping on her. With similar objective, Kiana rushes into the teleport before it closes and she transports into that fateful day.
After getting lost several times in the vast snowfield, Kiana's communication device picks up Theresa's signal, mentioning that a target is heading to Babylon Labs and requesting reinforcements to stop the target. Kiana finally finds injured Theresa who is healing up quickly. However, Theresa did not recognise Kiana and thinks that she is Siegfried's abandoned bastard daughter.
After a brief battle, Theresa realises that her fighting technique is identical to that of House Kaslana. Kiana realises that this Theresa is the one from the year 2000, rather than the present one, which explains why Theresa didn't recognise her. To quickly get out of this issue, Kiana makes up a story that Siegfried Kaslana had abandoned their mother years ago and after seeing this poor girl, Theresa believes her story and intends to exact revenge on Siegfried.

Theresa says to Kiana that a decision must be made against the 2nd Herrscher for swift action since the Herrscher is heading towards the tower for the Honkai energy to complete her awakening. Kiana is curious and asks what is that "Tower" is for. Theresa answers that the "Tower" is a massive research base known as Babylon Labs built by Schicksal that houses most of the latest technologies and it is the world's only massive-scale Honkai reactor. This is why the Herrscher must be stopped before she absorbs the energy, otherwise the whole world cannot stop her.
After hearing that, Kiana recalls the conversation in the dream at Selene about the 2nd Honkai War against the 2nd Herrscher which took place in Siberia in year 2000, where her mom was killed in battle. She asks Theresa about Cecilia Schariac's involvement in war to which she denies as she had just given birth a year ago and is on maternity leave. However, Overseer Otto Apocalypse might deploy her if they cannot stop the Herrscher. Kiana requests Theresa to not tell Siegfried about Kiana being her daughter as it might complicate matters to which she agrees.

No death.Theresa and Kiana finally meet up with Siegfried whom for Kiana, this is the first time she sees her father. Siegfried brings two pieces of bad news. First, there is no news from a Valkyrie squad who is searching for 2nd Herrscher. Second is for a lack of progress from them, Otto deploys Cecilia to battle in 30 minutes. They have to eliminate the Herrscher before she arrives. Then, a report from the squad comes in with news of the Herrscher's traces in two areas and Siegfried assigns Theresa and Kiana to go to one of the areas while he will go to the last area. Before they leave though, Kiana leaves a parting slap on his face for reminding her of the same stupid old man.
While Theresa and Kiana are on the way to the assigned area, Theresa says that he assigns Kiana with her because he will definitely use Judgment of Shamash on the Herrscher which will burn everything down in a sea of flame, including himself and he doesn’t want Kiana to see it.
When they arrive, the area is filled with shredded battlesuits which are still giving signals that the Herrscher is still here, baiting her location to Command. Every Valkyrie in the area has already been eliminated. This means that the Herrscher is currently heading towards Siegfried's direction. However, they are blocked by hijacked large drone which needs to be destroyed.

Clear the stage within 200s.Siegfried contacts Theresa and Kiana to inform that the 2nd Herrscher is on the way to his location. Despite many pleas from Theresa, Siegfried wishes them luck and asks Theresa to take care of his wife and daughter. Kiana had yet to realize the significance of Judgment of Shamash until Theresa informed her about it. The Judgment of Shamash is the heirloom of House Kaslana and one of the most destructive sacred relics of Schicksal. Before Siegfried, three Kaslanas gave up their lives by using the Judgment of Shamash.
They are almost at the location and already see Siegfried is using the Judgment of Shamash on the Herrscher.

Do not get knocked down more than 5 times.
No death.Cecilia arrives in Siberia and uses her Abyss Flower to cure Siegfried from the burn of Judgement of Shamash, how her lifeforce has been depleted into half. Despite various pleas from Theresa and Kiana together, Cecilia proceeds forward to prevent the 2nd Herrscher from killing more people. During their journey, Cecilia contacts Kiana and asks her to call Cecilia "mom", which makes her very happy.
5-6[]

Deal at least 4500 DMG within 3s.
Do not get knocked down more than 5 times.
No death.
Kiana and Theresa arrive at the entrance of the tower with no sign of the 2nd Herrscher. However, powerful Honkai beasts are protecting the entrance, most likely to delay them further. After much fighting, Cecilia arrives and one-shots the last powerful beast with her weapon, the Abyss Flower. The strongest Valkyrie has arrived and Kiana is very happy to see her mom for the first time.
