In 2000, the 2nd Honkai Eruption struck the world. Following the global economic crisis, many companies fell, but there were a few which rose to lead the industry. The Europe-based Heliopolis Life Sciences is a stark example.

Believing in "Science Heals All", the firm developed a wide range of anti-Honkai medicine that saved lives beyond count. For the decade later, it embraced rapid growth and became hugely successful.
The firm then embarked on a crusade in genetic medicine. Echoing its motto, the firm's relentless pursuit of cutting-edge tech and ethics-challenging clinical research have engulfed it in a flood of criticism and controversies.
Heliopolis' massive success in science and business is largely thanks to their close ties with Schicksal, but it remains a mystery what their partnership really entails.

Heliopolis Shenzhou Industrial Area[]

The Heliopolis Shenzhou office is a pharmaceutical industry park sitting on the northern outskirt of Arc City.
Through tripartite cooperation of Schicksal, Shenzhou, and Heliopolis, the construction was completed by the end of 2014.
The preference of the Heliopolis founder gave the buildings a heavy taste of ancient Egypt.
As the operational base of Heliopolis's aid initiative "Ankh", the industrial park handled the manufacture of new anti-Honkai medicine and its transport to Shenzhou and the Far East.

Living area:
The living space of Heliopolis employees. Apart from accommodation, an abundance of daily utility facilities makes for easy living.

Garden:
A space of relaxation bridging the research facility and living area.

Research facility:
Where researchers carry out their daily work. Very tight security and access control.

Core structure (the Pyramid):
A pyramid-shaped administration building sitting at the center of the park. Heliopolis' research archive and management files can be found here.

Medical Aid Program "Ankh"[]

Unlocked after clearing 13-7.
The 2nd Honkai Eruption plagued the earth like never before and spread the fear of extinction globally. Millions lost their home in the calamity and suffered excruciating pain from the Honkai epidemic that followed.
To deliver the people from miseries, Heliopolis pledged to offer free support to Honkai victims in 21 countries worldwide. This humanitarian effort was named Initiative Ankh.

It mainly involves:
1. Free vaccines and special treatment for Honkai-infected citizens.
2. Free clinical treatment for critically inflicted Honkai victims.
3. Free psychological therapy for Honkai PTSD patients.
To ensure fast delivery of aid supplies, Heliopolis has built industrial facilities with high manufacture capacity in some of the target regions, and the industrial area on the edge of Arc City is one of them.

Stigmata are the crown jewel of human lineage, a miracle of Previous Era bio tech. Before the doom of their civilization, people from PE put anti-Honkai genome in a few embryos. The genome would manifest on human skin, thus the stigmata. Stigma-bearing humans have far better resistance against and control over Honkai energy.

As the bloodlines passed, the genes mutated. That's why every modern human carries stigma genes, yet very few of them really show it.
Schicksal tried to synthesize stigmata and use them as implants, but their inept imitation is fatally flawed.
Guided by ■, our research made major breakthroughs. We now know how to activate and reconstruct stigma segments in human genes through artificial interference. It's a tough transformation. People who can't handle it will die or even become ■■, but those who can will be able to survive and thrive in the world of Honkai.

Activation progress has been slower than expected. We plan to experiment on a densely populated city for ■■■.
