Chiyou was the first Judgment-Class Honkai Beast of the Current Era. It appeared in Shenzhou due to the rapid advancement of human civilization caused by Project EMBER. This project was led by Fu Hua, Nuwa and Fuxi.
History[]
To seal the Honkai Beast, Nuwa, Fuxi, and Ji Xuanyuan sacrificed themselves. To keep the land safe, Xuanyuan stayed to guard the ancient seals: keeping Chiyou under control. But she became corrupted in the process.
Game Story[]
Thousands of years later, it was reawakened when the sword was taken from its place by Schicksal, resulting in the enormous Honkai beast awakening and attempting to swallow the nearest town. A Valkyrie squad led by Murata Himeko consisting of Kiana Kaslana, Raiden Mei and Bronya Zaychik, managed to defeat the beast and free the corrupted Empress from her eternal loneliness. They were also able to retrieve the Xuanyan Sword. Later, World Serpent managed to obtain Chiyou's corpse and presented it to their Sire so he could regain some strength from it.
Trivia[]
- To defeat Chiyou, Ji Xuanyuan's spirit would imbue Kiana's and Mei's weapons with a Xuanyuan Sword fragment, enhancing them in the process. These weapons would be then known as Xuanyuan Pistols and Xuanyuan Katana.
- Dragon Spine was forged with Chiyou's bone marrow.
