Below is a list of items that have been removed from the game. While some items could be retained, most were recycled, and they're all indiscriminately unavailable i.e. cannot be obtained anew.

Some legacy items used to be event items that have been announced deprecated and will not be seen again for almost certain (excluding their art assets being reused).

Duty[]

Duty was a resource obtained from completing daily and weekly missions. A milestone bar at the bottom of the mission menu would indicate how many  Duty points Captains have obtained that day and give rewards based on the amount collected. The milestones sat at 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150  Duty with each milestone offering  Crystals alongside common materials that varied by milestone.

Following the release of Battle Pass in Version 3.3,  BP could be obtained alongside  Duty from daily and weekly missions to raise the battle pass' level.

In Version 5.6,  BP replaced  Duty's function. Since then, the milestone rewards could be collected based on the amount of  BP obtained on the same day.

Type-specific EXP Chips[]

EXP chips used to be separated into 3 different types and give 50% more EXP to battlesuits matching their type.  Advanced BIO-Chip and  Super BIO-Chip would give 50% more EXP to BIO battlesuits,  Advanced MECH-Chip and  Super MECH-Chip to MECH, and finally  Advanced PSY-Chip and  Super-PSY-Chip to PSY-type battlesuits.

Following the release of  Swallowtail Phantasm in Version 3.2, instead of QUA-specific chip being released, all chips would give 25% more EXP to QUA-type battlesuits.

In Version 3.7, they were replaced with  ADV EXP Chip and  Super EXP Chip. The new chips offer the maximum amount of EXP without any type restrictions.

Coin Chests[]

Coin chests were given out during events and for completing various pernament activities like first-time stage clears. It was announced that starting from Version 6.2 they won't be obtainable anymore. Previously obtained chests were preserved and can be interacted with as prior. Since v6.2, game activities reward  Coins directly rather than giving out the chests.

They can be sold for  Coins in the sell menu by going into Equipment > Materials > Sell (bottom right icon) > Coins. They can also be used like any other consumables to get the same amount of  Coins that they sell for. These items have no other function than giving Captains extra  Coins.

Supply-related Items[]

Standard Supply Cards[]

Standard Supply and Standard Equipment Supply offered a large selection of old battlesuits and equipment. They used  Standard Supply Card and  Equipment Supply Card (Hotaro) correspondingly which could be bought on the supply screen for  Crystals ×280. The cards sometimes appeared in limited-time bundles.  Standard Supply Card was also given out sparingly from Armada contributions.

Standard supplies were shut down in Version 3.6 with Dorm Supply and Dorm Equipment Supply taking their place. All  Standard Supply Card and  Equipment Supply Card (Hotaro) were recycled into  Dorm Supply Card and  Dorm Equipment Supply Card respectively. Each recycled card gave  Crystals ×80 on top to make up for the lower cost of dorm cards.

Firepower Supply Card[]

Firepower Supply was first seen during the first anniversary (Version 2.2.3 for global) and, since its release and until Version 5.2, the supply used  Firepower Supply Card.  Firepower Supply Card ×1 was worth  Crystals ×280, but it could also be purchased in the paid shop. The supply can only be done ten times at once, one time total, resulting in  Firepower Supply Card ×10 costing Captains  Crystals ×2800.

During v5.2 a limited-time exchange was made available in the shop, allowing Captains to change their  Firepower Supply Card into  Focused Supply Card that the Firepower Supply started using from that version onwards.  Firepower Supply Card's discontinuation has not been discussed in any patch notes and its description didn't change in v5.2, so the wiki team is unaware if cards owned after v5.2 were auto-converted or remained in Captains' inventories and had to be manually exchanged with the help of customer support or if they became a dead weight.

Wishing Stone[]

Land of Wishes was added in Version 2.3. It allowed players to spend  Crystals on  Wishing Stone in order to get materials or S-rank choice option. Total "wish points" obtained by purchasing  Wishing Stone could be seen at the top of the menu.

Land of Wishes was separated into 2 "seasons". The first season had the  Wishing Stone cap of 100 and the second season 80, with their pity rewards being  Valkyrie Ovyom (S1) and  Valkyrie Ovyom (S2) respectively. Captains were guaranteed the S-rank option on their last draw if it wasn't obtained earlier. Once the wish point count reached the cap, the season would close.

Wishing Stone was removed in Version 6.1 alongside the Land of Wishes, resetting the wish points.

Expansion Equipment Supply Card[]

Expansion Equipment Supply Card was used on Expansion Supply > Equipment since v2.9 (At least for the CN server; Its earliest traces on GLB point towards Version 3.3 instead, this may be due to the different schedule of the servers or just lacking patch notes; GLB doesn't officially have a 2.9 version.) CN patch announcements indicate that before v2.9  Expansion Supply Card was used for both the battlesuits and the equipment parts of the Expansion Supply.

It expired in Version 3.9 and was converted into  Focused Supply Card, which existed before  Expansion Equipment Supply Card's expiration.

ELF Supply Card[]

Version 3.0 added ELFs--small and talkable humanoids that could assist battlesuits in battles. While the first two ELFs were free,  Selune's Elegy who released in Version 3.2 and all subsequent ELFs were locked behind ELF Supply, which used  ELF Supply Card.  ELF Supply Card could be obtained from events or paid  B-Chip bundles and bought directly on the supply screen for  Crystal.

Version 7.3 saw the release of AstralOps, supporters more suited for the Part 2 battlesuits, each offering different Astral Ring bonuses and buffs. This replaced ELFs functionality almost entirely, despite all ELFs receiving an Astral Ring skill tree on top of their old skill tree. ELF Supply was announced to be discontinued, and all  ELF Supply Card were recycled, refunding their cost in  Crystals. ELFs were meant to remain obtainable, but limited to events, such as the Battle Pass.

Dorm Equipment Supply Card[]

Dorm Equipment Supply released in Version 3.6 and used  Dorm Equipment Supply Card, each costing only  Crystals ×200. The allure behind the supply was the guarantee to get a new piece of equipment at a cheaper rate than normal. Although it only offered older gear pieces, for some of them the supply was the only source as they weren't added to the Exchange House or Foundry yet.

While v3.6 patch notes state that the supply was made "temporarily available", it would become permanent in Version 3.7. It was live for over 2 years before unceremoniously closing down in Version 5.8. While its closure didn't make it to the EN patch notes, it was mentioned on one of CN's update preview announcements.[1]
