Nancy Thomas Alva Edison, also known as Princess Nancy[1] behind her back, was the leader of Schicksal's North American Branch. She also was the owner of Supergen Corp, later General Electric company. She's considered one of the greatest entrepreneurs in human history and the girl who actually created the modern world.
Thanks to her economic investment in North America Branch and her scientific discoveries, Anti-Entropy was able to be established after her decease.
Appearance[]
Edison is a tall girl (1,76m) with blue hair and pink eyes. She weights 55kg.
Edison usually dresses masculine clothing. The girl's outfit consists in a white shirt covered by a pink sweater. She has a black tie over the sweater and a warm dark-blue jacket with wool inside. In the bottom part she has light-blue jeans and dark brown high boots. She has a long ponytail and two pink hairpins which match her eyes.
She's also seen with her hair down and wearing a lighter red long-sleeved shirt with a red bow tie, a black vest and a short black skirt. She sometimes puts on a brown blazer over her outfit.
Personality[]
Edison is a person fully focused on her job. She's very intelligent and responsible, but at the same time she's too ambitious, arrogant, a perfectionist and a serious workaholic. She dislikes lazy people who don't put any effort in their work. Edison is a cold, calculating and selfish person. In order to achieve her revenge she turns everything into a simple trade-off of pros and cons, like a machine. She alienated herself and turned people around her into her tools.
However, Edison is openly a pacifist. She is against the weaponry manufacture. She also signed a contract with the United States Government to help train an army with non-lethal weapons.
Edison is a prankster, hiding a teasing and flirty personality that only comes to light when around Nikola Tesla. She tries to constantly provoke her and have her under her control. Edison can be affectionate too, but in a way that she doesn't respect Tesla's personal space.

History[]
Edison was forced to become the Chairman of the Board of Supergen at the age of 17, after her parents were killed in a Honkai eruption. This event entailed the beginning of her ill obsession in the eradication of Schicksal HQ and Honkai.
By that time, Edison knew nothing related to Honkai. Even though she was told specifically not to investigate any further, she stopped trusting Schicksal after failing to rescue her parents in time. The older she got, the bigger was her distrust on Schicksal. She noticed the differences in world views and values between herself and Schicksal, which never has been people-centered. This way Edison reached the conclusion that Schicksal never intended to fight against the Honkai.
The World War had just ended. The economy in most parts of the world had been ruined by the destruction of the war and Edison took advantage of that. She first attempted to poach personnel from Schicksal, offering a high salary and experimental funds as bait. Due to her plan being unsuccessful, instead of making them their enemy, she decided to ally herself with Schicksal.
She paid a personal visit to Headquarters and proposed that she'd help the organization to establish a North American Branch. In order to do so, Edison offered a total of $13 billion USD in sponsorship funds as staged payments. This transaction would be later known to the world as the European Recovery Program. Edison wagered the entire Supergen Corp to build the branch, but thanks to her outstanding organization skills she protected her company from Schicksal's hostile takeover.
Edison was willing to do anything to take revenge against the Honkai with her own hands, for the sake of her own family and all of humanity. She eliminated every obstacle that got in her way. She turned herself and people around her into mere tools to achieve her own wishes, even if that meant stealing the patent of Tesla, her own intern.
Thanks to the alliance with Schicksal, Supergen Corp grew in scale and power. In the same way, the North America Branch got enough power to rival the Headquarters after recruiting Planck and Schrödinger.
The North American branch paid allegiance to Edison alone. Many referred to her as Princess Nancy or Her Royal Highness in private. Nevertheless, all members shared her distrust against Schicksal HQ.
Story[]
Anti-Entropy Visual Novel[]
Edison was investigating Duck Lake ruins until Planck, Schrödinger and Lab 42 arrived. When she sees them, she gets very close to Welt Joyce only because Tesla was hiding behind him. Edison provoked her with jokes and after irritating Tesla, she flirted with her and called her cute. Later Planck explained why they needed to investigate the lake, so Edison and her workers left.
Edison leaded "The Moonlight Throne Project" with the help of Schrödinger and Elias Nokianvirtanen. The experiment was looking for a way to transform Honkai energy into ordinary energy, based in the discoveries found in an unpublished version of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Edison was filled with excitement about this approach. She believed it would be the greatest "civil" invention ever known in human history. If it were successful hers and everybody else's wishes will be attained. The project was planned to convert the Honkai energy of the whole planet. In that way, Honkai would cease to exist and so would the organisation who fights it.
During the initial testing, Elias was blackmailed by Otto Apocalypse to tamper Edison's calculations. This caused the reactor to go out of control. Edison left the shelter to protect Schrödinger with a power the latter described as "one that a human couldn't have obtained by themselves" and that "it doesn't belong to the same system as honkai". Due to her rushing to use the "interferometer" to prevent the meltdown of the reactor, it was difficult to bring forth her true latent potential and became a pseudo-herrscher[2].
Edison had to control a huge Honkai energy ball with a power of over 20.000 TNT bomb in order to save the people of New York from the explosion. She transmitted a radio signal to all ships and coastal residents of New York Bay to inform about the failed experiment and evacuate to higher ground due to the tsunami that'll be caused once the Honkai impacts into the open sea. After this moment, Ada intercepted the signal so Tesla was able to speak with Edison. Nancy confessed to her the will to sacrifice herself to save everyone. She also made the impossible promise to personally pay Tesla's patent fee. Then Edison bid farewell to Tesla singing Scarborough Fair song along with her for the last time. Nancy Thomas Alva Edison died in the aftermath of the Honkai energy ball's explosion.
In the future, thanks to Edison's discoveries, Anti-Entropy was able to get the Selene from Previous Era.

In our world, this initiative started in 1948, so in case it shared the same date in Honkai Impact 3rd universe, she'd turn 24 during the events of the visual novel.
