Salome Jokanaan, also known as "The Baptist", was an A-rank Valkyrie from Schicksal's Europe branch known for her lightning reflexes, wizard aim, and insane dancing skills. She is a member of Squad Snow Wolf and first appeared in the Second Eruption comic.
She was a wielder of the Halo of Twelve, as an assemblance of mono-molecular edged blades controlled using a superconductive EM system. Salome was calm and collected, in contrast to Shub's more brash temperament.
Sometime before the 2nd Honkai War, Salome meets Shigure Kira while attending Schicksal's Valkyrie recruitment process with flying colors while believing that it was a talent training show. Salome, who was a dance virtuoso, didn't seem to help matters that could help her get closer to Cecilia Schariac, whom she worshiped. She didn't realize this until the "show" was over and she was congratulated as a Schicksal Valkyrie, with Salome jokingly snarking that the actual training show was over before Kira arrived.
Story[]
Second Eruption[]
In the 2nd Honkai War, she makes an appearance with Siegfried Kaslana and fellow Squad Snow Wolf member Shub-Niggurath fighting off Honkai beasts that were heading to Schicksal's Babylon Labs. At the G-2 Warehouse in the Babylon Lab, they find out that the warehouse exits are blocked by the Honkai Beasts and Benares from the 20th-century warship above the Babylon Lab.
Outside where the only exit is to flee, they decide to make a run for it. However, Benares prepared a mighty EMP attack towards the retreating Babylon convoy, before Salome decides that the only way the transports will come out unscathed is by blocking the said attack. She succeeds but gets hit by the attack in the process, killing her instantly.
