Superstring Dimension is an Abyss-variant game mode that was added in Version 4.2. It is currently accessible only by Captains who are Lv. 81 or above.

Superstring Stage Interface

Stage interface

  • Superstring Dimension's cycle has 4 stages: Fringe (left), Intensive (top), Perilous (right) and Singular (bottom). Players will start challenging Fringe in order to get access to Intensive and Singular. Successfully completing the former will unlock Perilous, which is basically a boss stage. All four stages have a time limit.
  • Fringe, Intensive and Perilous may have same weather, while Singular will have a different one from the rest. All four may also have different effects to each other.
  • Perilous rewards bonus points and can be played repeatedly. A shorter clearing time means more bonus points. For other areas, one clearing rewards full points.
    • Completing Fringe, Intensive and Singular will rewards 6,000 points each, and Perilous will give 3,000 + remaining points, which will be based on how long Captains take to clear.
  • If a battle is left unfinished, points will be rewarded based on current progress.
  • Players are ranked based on their highest battle points, and for players with the same score, the one who reaches this score earliest ranks highest.

Disturbance[]

  • Disturbance (top right in red) determines how difficult enemy battles are. Higher disturbance typically equals enemies having more HP.
  • Disturbance does not change within a cycle.
  • However, it may change in the next cycle based on a group's overall performance per cycle. A faster average clearing time in the group means a higher Disturbance and stronger enemies next round.
  • Disturbance varies across the 5 rank groups (Forbidden, Sinful, Agony, Redlotus, and Nirvana) and different sub-groups within the same rank group (e.g. Agony I, II, and III).
    • Disturbance also varies across servers.

Weathers[]

  • Physical: Enemies take 50% bonus Physical DMG and 50% less Lightning DMG.
  • Lightning: Enemies take 50% bonus Lightning DMG and 50% less Physical DMG.
  • Fire: Enemies take 50% bonus Fire DMG and 50% less Ice DMG.
  • Frost: Enemies take 50% bonus Ice DMG and 50% less Fire DMG.
  • Ranged: Enemies take 50% bonus ranged DMG and 50% less melee DMG.
  • Scrappy: Enemies take 50% bonus melee DMG and 50% less ranged DMG.
  • Counter: Type countering effects are 20% stronger.
  • Quantum: QUA Valkyries deal 20% bonus DMG.
  • IMG Environment: IMG Valkyries deal 20% bonus DMG.
  • Stardust: SD-type characters deal 20% more DMG.
  • Electrified: Enemies take 40% bonus damage when paralyzed and within 4s after the Paralyze ends.
  • Freezing Environment: Enemies take 40% bonus damage when Frozen and within 4s after the Frozen duration ends.
  • Ignited: Enemies take 40% bonus damage when Ignited and Ignite damage increases by 45%.
  • Blood Thorn Patch: Enemies take 40% bonus damage when Bleeding and Bleed damage increases by 45%.
  • Bloodthirsty: Enemy kills boost Total DMG by 20% for 15s. 8 stacks max. Every stack has an independent timer.
  • Fortified: Enemies are shielded but they take 40% bonus DMG when their shields are broken.
  • Dominance: Summoned entities deal 30% more DMG. Self deals 20% more DMG when a user-summoned entity is present.
  • Stellar Environment: When the Astral Ring system is activated, increases Total DMG of all team members by 30%. During Stellar Outburst, further increases the Total DMG of all team members by 20%.
  • Starless: When outside Stellar Outburst, all team members deal 15% more Total DMG. When the Astral Ring system is inactivated, all team members deal 50% more Total DMG.
  • Symphonic Environment: Enemies take 20% more Elemental DMG. For every battlesuit of a different element in the team, this effect is increased to 30%/50%.
  • Shadow: All characters on the field deal 15% more Total DMG. Characters deal 50% more Total DMG for 15s when Shadow Star Attack hits. Retriggering refreshes duration.
  • Echoing Environment: For every character in the team that has the Domain Resonance tag, the team deals 10% more Total DMG. When World Star is activated, the team deals 40% more Total DMG.
  • Flux: For every character in the team that has the Heavenly Shift tag, all team members deal 10% more Total DMG. When Law of Ascension is activated, all team members deal 40% more DMG.
  • Unbalanced Environment: Enemies take 40% bonus damage when stunned and within 4s after the stun ends.
  • Extreme Conditions: For every character in the team that has the Symbiosis trait, all team members deal 10% more Total DMG. When Grail of Infinitude is activated, all team members deal 40% more Total DMG.

Superstring Trophies

Trophies and Virtual Trophies

  • Unlike other Abyss-variants, Superstring Dimension introduces Trophies mechanic which, depends on player's place during cycle's finalization, will be either increased or decreased. The change of remaining trophies will promote them to higher rank if they have high enough trophies, or vice versa. In other words, players will not be promoted or relegated directly.
  • Once entering the mode for the first time, player will also start with 180 Virtual Trophies (which can be increased by 100 if promoted to Red Lotus once), which will be reduced instead of the actual trophies in case of their rank is low during finalization.

Myriad[]

  • The Myriad list shows the top 100 players serverwide and is updated in real time with historical data for reference.
  • Only players from the highest rank group are eligible for the ranking and they are ranked based on battle points. For players with the same score, the one who reaches this score earliest ranks highest. Players who score zero will not enter the list. Players in the Agony group or lower groups will not enter the list.
  • If the highest rank group has less than 100 players, players from the second highest group will fill in.
  • For two players from different rank groups, the one in the higher rank group ranks higher; for two players from the same rank group, the one with the higher score ranks higher.

Rewards[]
