Throw Attack performed by Durandal
Throw Attack was first introduced in version 3.8 and Valkyrie Gloria is the first battlesuit to utilize this function.
This function also caused all weapons in this category to have the minimum of Throw Attack weapon skill.
Throw Attack[ | ]
Throw Attack can be performed by simply tapping at weapon skill button.
- Player can't perform Throw Attack at invincible or uninterruptable enemies. Attempting to use a Throw Attack at these enemies will result in simple front stab with minimal damage.
- Enemies being attacked by Throw Attack will be unable to move, evade or attack and is ragdolled by the direction of attack.
- Player is unable to perform any actions during Throw Attack animation. This type of attack can't be canceled.
- Enemy combat move can be completely interrupted by Throw Attack, and they will also "forget" their last combat move.
Throw Attack damage is specified in the weapon skill, any extra damage comes from other sources such as the battlesuits themselves and/or other gears and supports.
Throw Attacks have 3 different animations depending on enemy size (not affected by custom size), however, all of them do same amount of damage regardless of enemy size.
Small size enemies[ | ]
Generally human-sized enemies. When using Throw Attack at these enemies, it will impair the lance on the target then swing and smash them to the ground.
Big size enemies[ | ]
Generally big size Honkai beasts or Titans. When using Throw Attack at these enemies, it will impair the lance on the target, perform upper kick and kick the lance to the ground.
Very big size enemies[ | ]
Very big size enemies such as Ganesha. When using Throw Attack at these enemies, it will impair the lance on the target, front kick the lance and push the target far away from the player.
Throw Counterattack[ | ]
Certain enemy attacks are opened for a counterattack, the Throw Attack button will be overwritten with a counterattack button and perform a special animation, unlike the normal Throw. Throw Counterattack can be activated regardless of Throw Attack cooldown as long as there is a prompt.
