Overdrive Mode

Unlocks the Mecha's energy restrictions to enter Burst mode: Overdrive.
Overdrive Cost: At over 40 SP, consumes 10 SP to enter Burst mode and 10 SP/s afterwards until SP is depleted during which the Valkyrie gains Iron Body.
Overdrive Switch: Tap [Ultimate] to switch off Overdrive.
Heat Reset: Heat meters of laser-type weapons will be reset upon Burst activation.

Terror Drain

When Overdrive Mode is triggered, heal the whole team by 108 HP for every impaired enemy hit by fist attacks.

Terror Freeze

Upon triggering Overdrive Mode, apply Time Lock to impaired enemies for 10.0s. Affected enemies remain impaired during Time Lock.

Mending Link

When Overdrive Mode is triggered, heal the whole team by 299 HP for each enemy kill.

Dimension Field

Raises the shield to defend against frontal attacks.
Counterstrike: Release the [Defense] button at the moment of the attack to unleash a counterstrike, dealing 100% ATK of Physical DMG.
Perfect Defense: Counterstrike triggers a 5s Time Fracture, during which the Valkyrie gains 50% Move Speed and 30% ATK Speed for 3s.Base CD of Perfect Defense: 15s.

Reflective Shield

Can perform Counterstrike when defending against ranged attacks. Unleashes Shield Charge and ignites the enemy, dealing 154 Fire DMG every 0.5s for 10.0s.

Reverse Trajectory

Reflects the thrown objects back to the ranged attacker upon starting defense, dealing 350% of the original damage.

BBS Equipment Builds[]

What is BBS and what do the meters mean?

BBS, an official Chinese equivalent to HoYoLAB, has a wiki on which they present Captains with what is generally agreed on to be the best equipment builds available, aimed towards both the new and the veteran Captains. BBS separates gear recommendations by what we'll refer to as "tiers" and "criteria".

Tiers serve as means of separating all the different gear builds. Available tiers:

  • Recommended Equipment: Equipment build suited for what the battlesuit does the best. A lot of the times it's unique to just one specific battlesuit.
  • Auxiliary Equipment: Extra equipment build specifically for Supports, providing Captains with more alternatives.
  • Universal Equipment: Equipment build that is interchangeable with other characters performing the same role, without many drawbacks, or the most popular alternative to recommend equipment.
  • Transitional Equipment: Equipment build that can be used as a placeholder until a better gear is acquired. Easy to get since most if not all items are farmable. Good when starting out.

Criteria are visualized via meters that fill until they reach 100% - at which point the build fully meets the set criteria. Available criteria:

  • Offensive Ability: How much does the build help the battlesuit deal more dmg?
  • Functionality: How functional the build is when put together?
  • Compatibility: How well does the build fit the battlesuit's role/kit?

Trivia[]

  • In an early version of the game, Yamabuki Armor was able to infinity attack with a laser weapon without entering an overheat state with a simple trick. To do this, Captains would hold the attack button until before reaching an overheat state, then tap the ultimate button to enter Overheat, then tap the ultimate button again to disable it. This was used to clear mob waves in Infinity Abyss due to its high efficiency (large AoE dmg + huge EP gain). This trick was later fixed in version 2.2 by adding an interrupt function if the player enables the Overdrive.
